Materials

PLASTICS
PLA - Most general type of 3d printing plastic
offers a cheep, ridged part while still having basic impact resistance
  • UTS - 65 MPa*
  • Stiffness - 7.5 / 10 Relative Scale
  • Durability - 4 / 10 Relative Scale
PETG - Common engineering plastic. Perfect for affordable, strong parts.
  • UTS - 53 MPa*
  • Stiffness - 5 / 10 Relative Scale
  • Durability - 8 / 10 Relative Scale

PC - Very high strength and durable plastic

  • UTS - 72 MPa*
  • Stiffness - 6 / 10 Relative Scale
  • Durability - 10 / 10 Relative Scale

Specialty Filaments

  • TPE - Rubber like material
  • Nylon - very strong and has natural lubrication properties

* UTS is based on raw material and not printed parts. Actual part strength is based on print direction and settings.

RESINS

BASIC - good for parts that are not under a lot of stress/ typically considered brittle

ENGINEERING GRADE - General Engineering resin
shore hardness D85
tensile - 39mpa
elongation at break 25%

SCULPT - High temperature resin
HDT - 160c
shore hardness D82
tensile - 63mpa
elongation at break 6%
